Edward Burtynsky Daily task (If you are finished with all your other assignments)

Look at this work of Edward Burtynsky. He looks at how humans are reshaping the earth in major ways and makes photographs out of these changes in the earth's landscape. They are beautiful photographs and humans are great engineers but at a cost to the delicate nature of the earths surface.

KINOPTIC PHOTOGRAPHIC ART due WED April 15

We only have a week left to work with computers! So we will Give our photographer presentations next week.

This kinoptic photo project is due Wenesday april 15. So take photos today or tomorrow, bring them to class to work on photoshop wednesday and print and fold.

Look at the work of Julio Amaro online. He is a kinoptic artist. Research kinoptic art online.

Photograph two subjects that go together paying attention to depth of field. Remember if you are shooting portraits you can remove all the blemishes!

These will be printed in black and white and then folded to make the final product.

You will make your kinoptic piece in Photoshop by combining sections of each photo equally. Make each section 1/2 inch wide.

Then you will print your image 8×11 and fold it in a fan style to make the kinoptic piece. Photograph your work from every angle and post to your blog. Look at the samples below to start formulating ideas.:
